Fiber-reinforced endodontic posts & drills Matchpost

The MATCHPOST is a basic glass fiber post design that has an apical taper, and a parallel coronal section for strength in the critical cervical area. In addition, the surface of the post is micro-mechanical, for excellent bonding and long-term retention. Available in four sizes.

The Matchpost is RTD’s most economical system.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

  • Elastic Modulus (13 GPa) like dentin, for mechanical compatibilitywith tooth structure, prevention of root fracture.
  • Proprietary glass fibers, provide high strength, fatigue resistanceand radiopacity (200% of Al), for resistance, peace of mind.
  • As a fiber-reinforced composite, it cannot corrode and it haspassed biologic safety tests.
  • Tapered apical section conserves dentin.
  • The parallel coronal section provides maximum strength in thecervical and restorative zones.
  • Neutral shading for sufficient light transmission.
