Fiber-reinforced Endodontic Posts & Drills DT Light-post

The DT LIGHT-POST is an advanced fiber post that adapts to the contours of the prepared or over-prepared canal. Each post has two separate apical tapers, based on scientific, anatomical measurements, and a arallel coronal section.

In addition, the surface of the post is intentionally roughened to a highly micromechanical surface for excellent bonding and long-term retention and durability.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

  • Elastic Modulus (15GPa) like dentin, for mechanical compatibilitywith tooth structure, prevention of root fracture.
  • As a fiber-reinforced composite, it cannot corrode and it haspassed biologic safety testing.
  • Double-Tapered (DT) apical section conserves dentin.
  • The parallel coronal section provides maximum strength in thecervical and restorative zones.
  • Micro-retentive surface offers push-out retention comparable toparallel metal posts.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

  • Flexural Strength: 1600 MPa
  • Fatigue Cycles without Rupture 10 Million (~20 years’ mastication)
  • Interlaminate Shear Strength 60-75 MPa
