MACRO-LOCK POST ILLUSION X-RO is RTD’s self-retentive post, which can be bonded, or placed with self-adhesive, self-etching or cements.

It is made from the same material as our famous DT Light-Post, which is supported by over 130 published studies, including long-term clinical trial.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

  • Elastic Modulus (15GPa) like dentin, for mechanical compatibility withtooth structure, prevention of root fracture.
  • Exclusive patented (X-RO) fibers, provide high strength, fatigueresistance and radiopacity (340% of Al), for resistance, peace of mind.
  • As a fiber-reinforced composite, it cannot corrode and it has passedbiologic safety testing.
  • Tapered apical section conserves dentin.
  • The parallel coronal section provides maximum strength in the cervicaland restorative zones.
  • Flat sides in coronal section to prevent rotation of the core.
